Colorectal Cancer Canada (“CCC”) is the country’s leading colorectal cancer not-for-profit patient organization, dedicated to colorectal cancer awareness and education, supporting patients and their families and advocating on their behalf.
In 2017 Colorectal Cancer Canada decided to advance its colorectal cancer prevention program by promoting and developing initiatives such as The Foods That Fight Cancer program, that would help educate individuals about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to reduce their risk of getting cancer.
The mission of the new Healthy Starts Here program is to promote health by encouraging people, both affected or unaffected by colorectal cancer, to live a holistically healthy lifestyle which keeps nutrition, physical activity, and mental wellbeing in balance. The program aims to achieve this by providing educational resources and information on these three areas, to help support healthier lifestyle choices.

Magda Field, ND
Magda began her career as a PR practitioner, working in the field during her 20s. In the fast-paced world of communications and public relations, she encountered the common struggle of balancing a demanding schedule with the need for personal well-being. Magda realized a lack of discipline was the main obstacle in her personal development and needed to improve her overall health. Transitioning from the corporate world to the health and wellness world of Naturopathy she discovered that the key to overcoming hurdles lay within herself, rather than external factors. Now, she aspires to motivate clients dealing with issues like weight loss and unhealthy lifestyles. Magda firmly believes that instilling a positive mental outlook, coupled with the right guidance and motivation, can empower clients to reach their fitness goals.
