Establishing a workout programme

Before beginning a new workout regimen, consult your medical team:

  • Beginning an exercise programme while your treatment is never too early or late.
  • If you aren’t already exercising, get up and move about a little bit instead of sitting or lying down. Start simple or with anything from your daily routine, like a walk through a mall or a dog walk.
  • If you are exercising right now: You might need to adjust your strategy due to exhaustion or a lack of energy. Up until you are back to your regular habits, increase the quantity of exercise you are getting a little more each day.
  • Before beginning an exercise regimen if you have metastatic cancer in your bones, consult your doctor.
